Tuition and Fees

California residents pay a reduced enrollment fee at Gavilan College, while out-of-state and international students are required to pay additional non-resident tuition on top of the base enrollment fees. If you are considering attending Gavilan College from out of state or as an international student, please be aware that this comes with a larger financial obligation. The following is an estimated cost per semester, based on data for the 2025–2026 academic year:

  • Tuition and Fees: $6,272 (Half of the $12,544 annual tuition and fees)
  • Books and Supplies: $1,294.50 (Half of the $2,589 annual estimate)
  • Housing (shared apartment): $6,138 (Half of $12,276 for "lives away from parents" housing & food)
  • Transportation: $994.50 (Half of $1,989)
  • Miscellaneous / Personal: $2,533.50 (Half of $5,067)

Estimated Total (Per Semester): $17,232.50
($34,465 per year, not including winter or summer intersession courses)
