Bio

Erica “Chapa” Slayday returns to the Gavilan Volleyball Program as the Interim Head Coach. Slayday played indoor and beach volleyball at Gavilan from Fall 2015- Spring 2017. She was named CCCAA First Team All American, Coast Conference MVP, and Gavilan Athlete of the year in 2017.  Slayday continued on to play at Cal State Monterey Bay and received Female Newcomer of the Year her junior year and Female Athlete of the Year in her senior year.  She looks to bring the Gavilan program back to the top of the brackets.
