Rams' Houstyn Lee-Perry named NCFC Player of the Week

Gavilan College running back Houstyn Lee-Perry was named the Northern California Football Conference (NCFC) American Division Offensive Player of the Week after a breakout game in the Rams's 27-20 overtime win over Yuba College.

Lee-Perry ran 30 times for 167 yards and a pair of touchdowns, including the game-winner in overtime. The freshman originally out of Libery High School in Hillsboro, Oregon averaged 5.6 yards per carry and had TD runs of 15 and 8 yards. 

Over three games ths season, Lee-Perry has ran for 309 yards, which ranks No. 6 in Northern California. His 103 yards per game average is currently seventh in the NCFC.

The Rams are back in action this Saturday (Sep. 28) when they travel to Chabot College for a 1 p.m. game. The contest will be live streamed for free by NorCalSportsTV on YouTube.
